The Humphrey Medical Center, 303 Main Street, is open daily and is served by three doctors from Columbus with a different doctor scheduled three mornings each week. For more information call (402) 923-0412. The Humphrey Family Dental Center, 203 Elm Street, has a dentist available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. For more information call (402) 923-1606.
The Humphrey Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department has 35-40 volunteers and approximately 50 percent of them are certified emergency medical technicians. The rescue unit is owned by the fire department.
Faith Regional Medical Center in Norfolk, 25 miles from Humphrey, has some of the most modern facilities in the state. It has one of the most modern intensive/coronary care units in the state. They offer services in all areas and have some of the finest doctors available at various times.
The Carson Regional Radiation Center in Norfolk became operational in the fall of 1988. It is the only radiation/oncology center in the area and has been largely funded by Johnny Carson and is named in memory of his father.
Columbus Community Hospital, Inc., in Columbus, 25 miles from Humphrey, is also easily accessible from the Humphrey area. It offers care in all areas and also has a home health care program, social services, wellness programs and sponsors many support groups.
Countryside Nursing Home in Madison is licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health. It offers a fine program for those in various stages of care and also has an Alzheimer's Wing. Columbus, Norfolk, Newman Grove, and Clarkson also have nursing homes.
